A collaboration starts with a defined problem: what the stream contains, what prevents recovery, and what evidence would change the decision. The question may need characterization, process development, product testing or an entirely different route.

Bring the right people together.

Industry brings the material, operating constraints and commercial context. Research teams bring methods, laboratory capability and technical expertise. Potential buyers define the output requirements. PyrolTech+ connects that work to a practical program, on our own reactor platform where it fits.

Today that includes active research partnerships with Canadian university research centres on co-pyrolysis and waste-to-value conversion, supported in part by federal research funding. Signed collaborations are named when all parties approve.

Agree the rules before work starts.

Scope, responsibilities, budget, data access, intellectual property, licensing and publication rights need written agreement before the project begins. These terms depend on the institutions, funding arrangements and partners involved.

Move from evidence to a pilot.

Bench work informs the next test. A pilot then examines the handling, process performance and economics that a laboratory result alone cannot establish. If the evidence does not support deployment, the work stops or is revised.
