ABOUT PYROLTECH+
Engineering discipline, applied to the waste nobody else will touch.
PyrolTech+ is the industrial waste-engineering arm of PyrolTech Inc., a Vancouver-based cleantech company building thermochemical conversion technology, pyrolysis, HTC, HTL, gasification, torrefaction and thermal drying, for waste streams that resist conventional recycling. Our engineering team spans mechanical, electrical, materials and polymer disciplines across offices in Vancouver, Canada and Yalova, Turkey.
PyrolTech+ in brief.
The facts a reader, a buyer or a search engine should be able to find in one place.
- Name: PyrolTech+ (also written PyrolTech Plus), the industrial waste-engineering arm of PyrolTech Inc.
- Headquarters: 330-638 Broughton St, Vancouver BC V6G 3K3, Canada. Office and operating site in Yalova, Turkey.
- Technology: US-patented dual-fuel, self-sustaining, modular pyrolysis reactor; HTC, HTL, gasification, torrefaction and industrial thermal drying. A second US patent covers thermoplastic starch bioplastics.
- Delivered and active: 45 TPD tire-to-value EPC (signed), two ~30 TPD thermal drying programs, a 3.0 MWe landfill gas-to-energy site in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey, already generating power.
- Method: assess, engineer, pilot, validate, deploy and document. No capital without pilot-scale evidence.

One way of working.
No capital is deployed without pilot-scale evidence. Every material we take on moves through the same evidence-gated path: characterize it, engineer the right conversion route, prove it in a pilot, validate the economics, then deploy.
That discipline is why our completed and active programs, from a signed industrial EPC contract to a landfill gas-to-energy site already generating power in Turkey, hold up under technical due diligence.
Programs. Technology. Applied research.
Programs turn an engineering plan into a repeatable route. Technology supplies the processing capability: our own patented reactor platform, plus HTC, HTL, gasification, torrefaction and industrial thermal drying. The Hub develops and tests new possibilities with researchers and industry.
The material and the decision determine the work. A program earns your trust first, technology carries the load, and the Hub keeps growing the list of materials we can solve.
Team and credentials.
Our leadership combines doctoral-level engineering credentials, professional engineering licensure and hands-on industrial delivery, with board members and advisors in climate policy, European waste-to-energy and AI process monitoring. The technical team spans mechanical, electrical, materials and polymer engineering across Vancouver and Yalova, Turkey.

Partner network.
We source the best available technology for each requirement through partners in Canada, the United States, the Netherlands, Turkey, Japan, South Korea and China.
- Netherlands: waste-to-energy engineering, physicochemical treatment and caustic recovery.
- Japan: multi-effect evaporation for brine and saline wastewater.
- South Korea: physicochemical wastewater treatment and specialist metals recovery.
- East Asia (China, South Korea and Japan): equipment sourcing and the research network behind our HTC work.
- Canada: university research centres on co-pyrolysis and waste-to-value conversion, supported in part by federal research funding.
- Turkey: our office and operating site in Yalova and a 3.0 MWe landfill gas-to-energy site already generating power.
On large facilities we can act as technical advisor, technology supplier, EPC or EPCM (engineering, procurement and construction management) contractor, management contractor or joint venture partner. As management contractor we are the single engineering authority coordinating every vendor, technology and interface.
Where we are.
Canada: Vancouver, headquarters. Turkey: Yalova, office and operating site. A sourcing and research network across East Asia (China, Korea and Japan) supports our HTC technology work. Programs for Canadian clients focus on BC and Western Canada.
How we work with you.
We are not a consulting-only shop. Revenue and delivery span five lines of work:
- Engineering and EPC contracting: design-build turnkey delivery.
- Equipment supply.
- Technology licensing: our reactor platform, licensed for partner deployment.
- By-product and off-take commercialization: biochar, wood vinegar and other recovered products.
- Investment-grade demonstration partnerships: co-funded pilot-to-commercial builds with PyrolTech Group or investor partners.
Your waste stream currently costs you money to dispose of. We re-engineer that stream into a product with a buyer: recovered carbon, fuel, biochar, carbon credits, or avoided disposal cost. That is the return we build toward on every program.
